Getting Back to the Blog

I have been struggling with an ethical issue: I don't believe in being too vague about my recommendations. And yet, when I have been specific, I have found a minor panic for folks to get to the locations we are talking about.

This problem has actually made me reluctant to post ANYTHING for a while and I think that has been a mistake as well. So, on Friday mornings (PST), I am going to post a little information about the future locations we see most potential. I am NOT going to talk about what we are seeing TODAY. If you want to get a consultation with me on the phone, I am pleased to tell you what I know but I cannot put things out there without context because I think it might do more harm than good.

ALSO, I am going to do a little video each week to share with you what I am seeing and where potential is. Granted, this is going to help students and residents much more than currently practicing doctors. But, it seems it is worth doing.

On this note, we note with sorrow the passing of AllCare Dental. This operation had many employees and lots of locations in the Northeast. They seemed to be a direct competitor with Access Dental. They have some GREAT locations, lots of equipment, and even some patient charts that might be worth looking into buying. BUT, we do not believe that the courts have had their say yet in the disposition of assets. We hear that dentures are still waiting to be distributed, for example. These were paid for in advance and patients are obviously concerned.
